Technology touchscreen in museums

Cleveland Art museum:

The Cleveland Art museum has installed the largest interactive touchscreen in the United States, allowing up to 16 visitors to simultaneously explore the more than 3,500 art pieces in the museum’s permanent collections. Each piece is presented as a thumbnail on a 12 meter screen – visitors can get more information about each piece by tapping on it, which also allows them to browse through other thematically similar pieces. Visitors can select items from the wall, and add them to a personalised tour of the museum accessible through a separate iPad app.
